Bush V.S. Kerry. Whose side are you on?

As we all know, both Bush and Kerry are running for the next US President. The results of the election will be out soon. Who will emerge as the next US President? Whose side are you on?

Personally, if I am eligible to vote, my vote will be for present US President George W. Bush. Step aside, US Senator John Kerry. What kind of President would become of you? One who’d withdraw US troops from Iraq? One who'd declare 'peace' for the world? Haven’t you thought of the consequences?

If US troops are withdrawn from Iraq, terrorists there shall be scot-free. What will that result to? A direct answer would be TERRORISM. The world would be in turmoil with all these terrorism acts surfacing, thus problems with safety and security will occur. Declaring peace with them? Forget it.

Not only that, if you look into the bigger picture, prices of oil and fuel would also increase. Please bear in mind that present US President Bush had sent US troops over for the 710 reason(s) too. Once the troops are out of Iraq, the Iraq government would rise oil prices to an estimated US$40 per barrel. That’s a 60% increase from the current US$25 per barrel.

Disheartening news is that Bush’s stake aren’t doing too well. Hopefully Bush will emerge as the next US President and not that ‘peace-blabbering’ Kerry. Singapore may have to be prepared for upcoming economy challenges if Kerry wins.

Double... or is it Triple?

I've always knew that I do not have single eyelids, and have in mind that I have double eyelids. However, I've made a new discovery.

Not long ago, I was curious to find out if my parents had single or double eyelids. I observed their eyelids and found out that they both had double eyelids. Strangely, I noticed their eyelids had only one extra fold of skin. I recalled that I had two extra folds of skin on my eyelids when I last examined them.

In order to clear my doubts, I examined my eyelids once more. True enough, there are two extra folds of skin. Now, my question is "Do I have double eyelids, or is mine a (unique) triple?" It may be a product of the genes from both of my parents. My formula: Double1 + Double2 = Triple1.

Double or triple, it doesn't really matter, but that discovery "inspired" me to make further investigations on genes.
